Diamond Skills 108

About Us

Miguel Mendoza is a baseball development coach helping players make the transition from average to successful baseball players. Miguel started Diamond Skills 108 on February 2014 to help athletes understand and navigate the adversities of the diamond. A former Warren High School alumnus, Miguel played his collegiate career at Cypress College, Golden West College, and Chico State University. He continued playing professionally in Texas, Indiana, and Northern California. Miguel has a passion for practice, instruction and developing the next generation of committed baseball players. He believes baseball can be a vehicle to teach players life skills that will help them learn and grow. Miguel was fortunate enough to play and learn from some of the most decorated coaches in the game: 3 time recipient L.A. Times High School Coach of the Year, Scott Pearson; Hall of Fame Junior College Coach, Scott Pickler; Assistant Coach at the University of Arizona, Sergio Brown; University of Washington Head Coach, Lindsay Meggs; Advisor to general manager of the Philadelphia Phillies, Charlie Kerfeld. Miguel spent over 20 years on the field and now dedicates his time to baseball players offering a wide range of development programs and services – from individual, group, team sessions and camps to recruiting videos, mental lectures and coaching clinics.
